Our Projects
The Blue Streak Booster Club is committed to bettering the programs and experiences of all Sandusky City Schools athletes by completing various projects throughout the school year. Check out some of our project recaps below.
The Big House Scoreboard Upgrade
During the 2022 winter sports season, the Blue Streak Booster club premiered a brand new state-of-the-art scoreboard system in the Sandusky High School main gym - the Big House. Thank you to this year's scoreboard sponsors for making this project possible. Sponsors include Loris Printing, Pizza House East, Ken Ganley, Paul Fox and Sons Excavating, and Raising Canes.
SCS Record Boards Redesign
In 2020, the Blue Streak Booster Club redesigned all of the record boards located at Sandusky High School and Strobel Field. These record boards now showcase all district athletic records throughout history in prominent and ideal locations.
Strobel Field Handrail Project
In 2022, the Blue Streak Booster Club partnered with Sandusky City Schools and personal donor Jeff Krabill to purchase and install handrails at Strobel Field. These handrails were installed along walkways and aisles leading up to the main seating areas of the stadium. This project will allow for better accessibility for visitors.
